Our sleeve bearings are made for both static and dynamic conditions. Lubricated bearings can be made from bronze, steel or stainless steel, with or without lube grooves and holes. Self-lubrication is recommended for any application in which dynamic conditions require the capability to handle heavy loads–reversing and non-reversing–or continuous oscillation.

These sleeve bearings can be used with shafts of different materials in oscillating and rotational movements. Thanks to the high-performing iglide? G300 polymer, these timken bearings are reliable under high load and wear-resistant during continuous rotational use. Polymer construction features universal corrosion resistance, as well as, maintenance and lubrication-free performance. Extreme insensitivity to dirt. Polymer offers high compressive strength and good heat conductivity with very low 'creeping' tendency. Highly vibration dampening to reduce shocks and impacts.

SRG plain sleeve bearings can be used on any application where the required load-carrying capacity falls within the capabilities of the material. including plain cylindrical sleeve, flanged, thrust, cored bar, solid bar, and plate stock.

Self-lubricating sleeve bearings provide smooth operation and greater durability. Our Emergency Bearing Bank, where a wide variety of fag bearings are maintained in stock, minimizes downtime and costs. The wide variety of materials available meets an equally wide variety of application needs. Thousands of size and material combinations are available directly from stock, for greatly enhanced design and maintenance convenience and efficiency.

SRG has a comprehensive selection of sleeve bearings with all standard sizes covered. With almost 500 varieties covering dry sleeve bearings, flanged sleeve bearings and self lubricating sleeve bearings you will be able to find the version for your requirements. We offer bronze or graphite models and a wide selection of lengths and diameters, ensuring you have the best choice available.

By far, the most common bearing is the plain bearing, a bearing which uses surfaces in rubbing contact, often with a lubricant such as oil or graphite. A plain bearing may or may not be a discrete device. It may be nothing more than the bearing surface of a hole with a shaft passing through it, or of a planar surface that bears another (in these cases, not a discrete device); or it may be a layer of ntn bearing metal either fused to the substrate (semi-discrete) or in the form of a separable sleeve (discrete). With suitable lubrication, plain bearings often give entirely acceptable accuracy, life, and friction at minimal cost. Therefore, they are very widely used.
